Sensei
Kassine Omar Cass
I
fell in love with karate at the tender age of 4 and was a self taught
martial artist. It wasn’t until 1992 when I took my first lesson
with Master Billy Pine. Master Pine took me under his wing and started
me on my long journey to black belt. I began serious competition
when I was 14 and am presently active. You can catch me on any number
of circuits; IFMA, NBL, WAKO, and starting this year NAKSA. It wasn’t
long until I captured my first amateur world title as a green belt
at the age of 16. I have since competed in over 200 karate tournaments
of various styles and disciplines. Since becoming a Blackbelt, a
new journey has begun for me and I now have a better understanding
of the words martial artist. To all those who are thinking about
competing, take it from me, just go out there and do what you know
how to do.
